Samantha Cohen has been a Physician Assistant for over 12 years specializing in and publishing in the areas of HIV/AIDS, Oncology and Pain Management. She began her professional career by attending one of the most prestigious Physician Assistant programs in California, graduating in the top of her class. Because of her own on-going personal medical needs, she realized that something was missing. No one worked together to create a team approach to fixing her physical pain. She now knows that she could have improved more quickly had she met a doctor like Dr. Edlund and the OC Back & Body Doctors team. She realizes that the multi-disciplinary approach they use to help their patients has a much better success rate, and therefore is excited to be a part of this progressive medical team. Through her many years in practice, Samantha has experienced that most health problems can be traced back to an inflammatory reaction. Why not fix all the parts of the body that create underlying inflammation, which in turn would help the whole body to heal and work more effectively?
