Low Back Pain
Several studies have found that chiropractic care is the treatment of choice for symptomatic relief of low back pain. This is due to chiropractic’s primary objective, which is to eliminate nerve pressure. This contrasts greatly from many medical treatments and therapy which focus on simply covering up the symptoms which may occasionally give relief in the short run but frequently worsens the condition in the long run. Surgery is sometimes required but expensive, dangerous and irreversible procedures such as this are to be used as last resorts when all else fails.
Irritation of the nerves of the low back may produce pains, stiffness, soreness, weakness, numbness, tingling in the low back area extending down to the buttocks. If the subluxations are left uncorrected they may lead to further degeneration of your condition to the point where symptoms start traveling down your legs or start interfering with internal organ function
Since even the slightest misalignment of the lumbar or sacroiliac joints can put pressure on nerves, chiropractic addresses the problem of the misalignment rather than the symptoms one experiences. Chiropractic works to restore the normal nerve energy flow from the brain through the spine by realigning the vertebrae and the sacrum.
Chiropractic is simple and non-invasive.
